We bid farewell to Leila Marie Gill of Newark, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 27, 2025 at the age of 60. Leila Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Eugene Gill and Mary Jane Ann Allen (Sites); her brother Kevin Gill; her stepfather Gary E. Allen; her stepbrother Gary L. Allen; her aunts and uncles, Kenneth, Marlene Whightsel, Molly, Grady Blessard and Eugene Sites; her cousin Rebecca Davis; and her grandchildren, Summer Nicole Howard Welsh and Wyatt Michael Howard (Little Peanut).
She is survived by: her children, Troy Howard (Jesika) and Amber; her sister Diana Lightle; and also, Christina Salifu (Mahama), Raymond Howard (Tosha), Tasha Downhour (Donald), Amy Stiles (Mark), Michelle Howard, Kayla Randolph (David), Bryan Waites and Tina Powers. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
