It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona M. Buckingham (Newark, Ohio), born in Bladensburg, Ohio, who passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wheeler Johnson and Fern Johnson (Conard); her husband John Buckingham; her siblings, Gail Johnson, Carroll Guy Johnson and Rhea Ashcraft; and her children-in-law, Sharon Buckingham and Glen Montgomery.

She is survived by: her children, Suzie Bush (Bruce), Kathy Baughman (Randy), Sandra Drake (Michael), John P. Buckingham, Laurie Montgomery and William Buckingham. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, as well as many nieces and nephews.
