It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lori Beth Spurgeon of Newark, Ohio, born in Millersburg, Ohio, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert "Bob" Spurgeon and Doris Spurgeon (Arnholt); her husband Matt Parks; her pet Millie; her children, Arianna Parks, Cory Parks (Elena) and Logan Spurgeon; her sisters, Jennifer Thorpe (Ted) and Amber Spurgeon (Ted); her nieces and nephews, Bo Kandel, Madison Kandel (Tawnya), Kody Kandel, Natalie and Laney Thorpe; her grandmother Nancy Arnholt; her mother-in-law Anita Parks; her brothers-in-law, Aaron and Kenny Parks (Michelle); her close friend Nikki Dalton; her grandparents, Alfred, Hester Spurgeon and Jacob Arnholt; her father-in-law Kenneth Parks; and her caregiver Nikki Dalton.
