It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Evelyn Mardis of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Donald "Jack" E. Mardis; and her siblings, Charles Kidd (Mary Kathleen), William Kidd (Toby), Carl Kidd and Dorothy Cline (Charles).
She is survived by : her sons, Rick Mardis of Newark and Robert Mardis (Rebecca Nye) of Cincinnati, Ohio; her granddaughters, Rachel Bellaw (Steve) of Columbus, Ohio and Rebecca Mardis of Columbus, Ohio; her great grandchildren, Kai Rodriquez of Columbus, Ohio. and Torin Bellaw of Columbus, Ohio.; and her sisters, Shirley Guilliams (Jim) of Newark and Virginia Evans of Newark. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Smith Chapel United Methodist Church, or Absolute Hospice.
