It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary L. Overbey of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on May 2, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James D. Riley; her husband Ronald L. Overbey; her sons, Eric Shane and William "Dub" Overbey; her brothers, James F. "Fred" Riley, William M. "Bill" Riley and Chuck Serfozo; her stepmother Mala C. Riley; and her pet Sadie Girl.
She is survived by: her son Brian Overbey (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Tiffany Smoke (Tory), Karie Cooper, Brandi Overbey, Jacob Overbey, Angel Lewis (Zak), Morgan Overbey, Taylor Holland, Shane Overbey (Maddie) and Erica Overbey; and her siblings, Ruth Jones, Pat Riley (Billie), Teresa Grigsby (Gary) and Joseph Serfozo (Peggie). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
