She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Talbott and Viola Talbott (Regoli). She is survived by: her sister Darla Talbott; and her nephew Blake Talbott (Gwen). She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055).
In lieu of flowers, Melinda's family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in support of the Licking County Humane Society or in support of theMMORE for Multiple Myeloma Research Fund (313431) at The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
