He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Rowland and Pansy Rowland; his son Michael Rowland Jr.; and his grandchild Reagan Rowland. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ares, Rylee, Emmalyn, Rhemi and Rooster; and his children, Makayla Rowland and River Rowland.
