She is survived by: her son Josh Compton (Tammy Whitis); her grandchildren, Myles and Mayzie Compton; her brother Carl Compton (Patti); her nephew Carl "T. J." Compton; her cousin Autumn Norman; her friend Valerie Franklin; and her pet Eddy Compton.

Memorial contributions may be made in Michelle's memory to the Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
