It is with sadness that the passing of Michelle (Bounds) Marinik (Newark, Ohio) is shared. Michelle, born on December 30, 1968, passed away on August 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Michelle will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Michelle by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Michelle is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Michelle’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She is survived by: her husband Keith Marinik; her children, Ashley Marinik (Paul Slezak) and Brian Marinik; her pet Zeus; her parents, Dan Bounds and Nona Bounds; her siblings, Renae Kline (Geoff) and Matt Bounds (Trudy); her sister-in-law Jane Dunn; and her nieces and nephews, Todd Leibold (Maria), Bershann Bounds, Vanessa Merrifield (Stevan) and Joey Bounds.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the The Little Red Barn (101 S Main St NE, Newark, OH 43055).
