Nancy Marie McIlyar Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Marie McIlyar of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertil C. Anderson and Bernadette B. Anderson (DeShambo); and her husband Robert McIlyar. She is survived by: her children, Ann Malarky (Donald), Lynn McIlyar, Robert McIlyar (Jackie) and Jan Green (Tim); her grandchildren, Abbie McIlyar, Michael McIlyar (Liz), Rob Malarky, Kristen Jordan (Billy), Alex Malarky, Olivia Shashura (Zander), Beck Green (Alexis), Cai Green (Morgan) and Cade Green; her great grandchildren, Hudson, Penny Jordan, Britt, Eden, Cana Shashura, Psalm and Wren Green; and her brother Donald Anderson (Sharon). She is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Nancy's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
