She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Gower and Ruth Gower (Harper); her siblings, Jim Gower, A. J. Gower, Harvey Carl Gower, Nola Hartman, Lola Gower, Diane Lane, Kay Hinderly and Larry Gower; and her grandson Zane Frederick Chandler.
She is survived by: her children, John Hill (Alicia), Robert Hill (Amanda) and Carla Hill (Morton); her grandchildren, Johnny Hill (Chyna), Brandon Hill (Cassandra), Nathan Hill, Brandon Rodgers (Mikayla), Cameron Rodgers (Sierra) and Lilly Hill; and her sister Karen Ashcraft. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
