He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Martin Sr. and Mary I. Welsh (DiGiandomenico); his wife Carolyn Jo Welsh (Sprague); his brother John Welsh; and his brother-in-law Everette Wigal.
He is survived by: his daughter Jeanette Stormes (Daniel); his grandchildren, Brandon Stormes (Randy Kondler) and Katie Jones (Hunter); his great grandchild Hobbes Jones; his stepchildren, Rhonda Rogers and Vincent Burke; his stepgrandchildren, Kyle Rogers (Clair) and McKenzie Rogers; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lane Rogers and McKay Barker; his sister Mary Wigal (Tim Brewer); and his caregiver Angela. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and his special dog.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reed-Egan Funeral Home (141 Green Wave Dr, Newark, OH 43055). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
