He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, James A. and Phyllis J. Young; his brother-in-law Alan Young; and his nephew Donald Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Laura Lahmers; his children, Vanessa Johnson (Nick) of Dover, Justin Lahmers (Amy) of Hilliard and Tanner Lahmers (Rachael) of Newark; his siblings, Ella Marshall of Dover, Judy Franks (Gary) of Bolivar and Jeffery Lahmers of Arlington, Virginia; his grandchildren, Cameron Johnson, Abigail, Madalyn Lahmers, Evolett, Harvey Selby, Kennedy and Talon Lahmers; his stepmother-in-law Paulette Young; and his niece Sonya Hart (Shawn). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
