He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Crabtree and Janis Crabtree (Smith); and his siblings, Jim, Lloyd Crabtree and Betty Locke.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn S. Crabtree (Ervin); his children, Lisa Kattner, Lori Crabtree (Joshua Smith) and Michael Crabtree (Mercedes); his grandchildren, Caden Garman, Alyvia Garman, Wyatt Garman, Adriane Kattner and Joshua Kattner; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Ervin (Dianne), Rozanne Pencil and Linda Ervin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
