He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Kreider and Yvonne Jean Kreider (Farmer); his nephew Justin Spangler; his father-in-law Oscar Young; and his brothers-in-law, Kevin Young and Andy Young.

He is survived by: his wife Sherry Kreider (Young); his children, Richard Kreider, Danny Kreider (Racheal Johnson) and Darlene Holsinger (Charles); his grandchildren, Camdyn Holsinger, Zane Holsinger and Mason Kreider; his sister Brenda Sue Spangler; his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Spangler, Carson Spangler and Cohen Spangler; his sisters-in-law, Cindy Burkhart (Steve), Tina Jungling (Greg) and Tracey Baker (Anthony); and his mother-in-law Lois Young. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles; and close friends.
