It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick L Wheeler of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Rick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Denny Wheeler; and his brother Ram Wheeler. He is survived by: his mother Carol Wheeler; his brother Ron Wheeler (Carolyn); and his close friends, Larry, Kim Germenhardt and Kelly Mendenhall. He is also survived by nephews; cousins.
