It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rickey L. Springston of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Harley and Medrith Springston (Moreland); his wife Brenda Sue Springston (Summerfield); his brother Bill Springston; and his brother-in-law Tom Minton.
He is survived by: his sons, Eric Springston (Ling-Ling Chen) and Danny Springston (Nikki Stevens); his grandchildren, Nathan and Kelsey Springston; his sisters, Carol Minton and Mary Lou Ellis (John); and his girlfriend Sheila Gartner. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
