Rickey L. Springston Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rickey L. Springston of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Harley and Medrith Springston (Moreland); his wife Brenda Sue Springston (Summerfield); his brother Bill Springston; and his brother-in-law Tom Minton.
He is survived by: his sons, Eric Springston (Ling-Ling Chen) and Danny Springston (Nikki Stevens); his grandchildren, Nathan and Kelsey Springston; his sisters, Carol Minton and Mary Lou Ellis (John); and his girlfriend Sheila Gartner. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at the Frazeysburg Cemetery.
