He is survived by: his parents, Larry Knicely and Antoinette "Toni" Waldron (Lanning); his sister Marti Halm (Doug); his nephews, Zach Halm and Nate Halm; his stepsister Katie Schlegel (Scott); his cousins, Jennifer, John, Jamie, Nicole, Erica, Kouri, Kobe, Jim, Devin, Lexie, Kathy and Harriet; his caregiver Mindy; and his close friends, Scott, Joe and Jonah. He is also survived by uncles, aunts.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newark Chapel (1850 W Main St, Newark, OH 43055). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Robert G. Knicely Fund, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark, OH 43055. Memorial contributions are being used to help wrap our arms around caregivers and give them the support they deserve.
