He was predeceased by: his parents, Zona Gail Scarbury (Richard) and Carl Bartoe (Bob); and his grandfathers, Lawrence Newsome (Georgie) and Oscar Bartoe (Alice). He is survived by: his significant other Tammy; his children, Robert Newsome II (Toni), Douglas Newsome (Stephanie), Justin Newsome (Jami), Kayla Rine (Christopher) and Jared Newsome; his grandchildren, Robert III, Cameron, Jackson, Addison, Riley, Parker, Kitana, Killian, Naomi, Jaxton, Violet and Dean; and his siblings, Michael Lembeck-Edens, Roger Newsome (Gerlayne), Jimmy Newsome, Debbie Hoar (Douglas) and Alice Fields. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brucker-Baker Funeral Home (34 N Main St, Utica, OH 43080). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
