She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Shook and Eileen Shook; and her son Monty Somers. She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Jamie (Mike) and Thad; her grandchildren, Morgan, Olivia, Grant and Charlee; her siblings, John (Kay), Patrick (Sharon), Melissa (Larry) and Marti (Mark); and her friend Brenda Land. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In the end, Alzheimer's stole most of her memories, but never her spirit.
