He was predeceased by: his parents, John Painter and Mary Painter (Huffman); his parents-in-law, Wesley and Mary McPherson; his siblings, Evelyn, LaVonda, Kermit and Jerry Lee; his sister-in-law Beverly McPherson; his son-in-law Steven Wheeler; his granddaughters, Mary Dawn and April Dawn Graham; and his nieces, Sherry McPherson and Karen Painter.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette Painter (McPherson); his children, Mary Danielle Graham, Ronald Dean "Dino" Painter Jr. (Brittany) and April Janielle Painter (Mike); his grandchildren, Melanie Graham and Ronald Dean "Trey" Painter III; his siblings, David Painter, Marlena McPherson (Cary), Brenda Jordon and Linda Foltz; his brother-in-law Robert McPherson; and his pets, Sie and Snoodle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
