He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester E. Wells and Mildred V. Wells (Helser); his stepmother Hazel Wells; his siblings, Debra Patterson, Lorie Pargeon and Jim Wells; his parents-in-law, William and Ellen Dalrymple; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Dalrymple and Sally Tracey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Wells (Dalrymple); his children, Amy Carl (John) and David Wells (Nicole); his grandchildren, Katie, Karoline Carl, Isabella and Nicholas Wells; and his siblings, Karen Emmert, Lynn Voss, Jewell "Babe" Eveland (Monte), Robin Barcus (Gail), Sue Wells, Patsy Harris (Charlie), John Patterson (Mary) and Mike Wells (Sue). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
