She was predeceased by : her parents, Larry Mariani and Pauline C. Ake; her husband William L. Cost Sr.; her great grandchild Alex Daniels; her siblings, Eleanor Dickinson (Joe) and James E. Mariani; and her stepfather Robert Ake.

She is survived by : her children, William L. "Bill" Cost Jr. (Karen) and Roseann E. Schaller (Bill); her grandchildren, Cara Daniels (Jesse), Patrick Cost (Samantha), Nathan, Reid and Grant Schaller; her great grandchildren, Megan, Casey, Felicity, Opal and Liam; and her sister Mary Ann Ake.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Rose to Hospice of Central Ohio and/or FirstLight Home Care.
