He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Russell; and his sister Kira Davis. He is survived by: his daughters, Deanna M. Houston (Randy) of Zanesville and Brittney L. Jones (Chris) of St. Louisville; his grandchildren, Lane Houston, Kate Houston, Wes Houston, Gavin Jones, Aubrey Jones and Teddy Jones; his siblings, Douglas Bowlby (Patricia) of Newark, James Bowlby of Newark and Kimberly Bowlby (James Johnson) of Heath; and his uncle Jim Bowlby of Stockport. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
