With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ann Gainer of Newark, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on March 2, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Clarence "Mike" Elam and Ben Gainer; her mother Marilyn Ruth Burtnett (Hutchinson); her sons, Ben Gainer III and Floyd Matthew Gainer; and her sister Rhita Gainer.
She is survived by: her children, Chad Michael Gainer, Brandt Lynn Gainer, Larry Ross Gainer, Tera Hawes, Kenneth Gainer and Tonya Taylor; her siblings, Rhoda Bush (Robert), Raymond Burtnett and Regina Burtnett; her mother-in-law Helen Elam; and her siblings-in-law, Catherine York, Debbie, Lester Henry, Teresa and Jack Endicott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
