Ruth L. Swinehart Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth L. Swinehart of Newark, Ohio, born in Thornville, Ohio, who passed away on November 25, 2023 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Swinehart and Nellie Swinehart (Bope); her sisters, Mary Zartman, Helen Ellinger, Gladys Swinehart, Creta Lusch, Dororthy Swinehart and Miriam Swisher; her nephews, Steve Zartman, Donald Lusch and Timothy Swisher; her niece Carole Schwartz; her brother-in-law Paul Swisher; and her close friend Maxine Binckley.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Sally Nordenbrock (Ken), Jane Yoder (Mike), Mary Manolofff (Mike), Richard Zartman (Donna), Valerie Kaler (Jim) and Paul Swisher, II (Alicia); and her close friend Lori Blosser (Don, family: Tim Binckley). She is also survived by nineteen great nieces and nephews; twenty one great-great nieces and nephews.
