With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sally MacDonell of Newark, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on July 2, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Hampton Eaton and Lenore Horn Eaton; her husband John Wynne MacDonell; her brother Raymond W. Eaton; and her siblings-in-law, Alexander D. MacDonell Jr., Martha S. MacDonell and Jean M. Weis (Thomas T.).
She is survived by: her brother James D. Eaton (Cindy) of Lima; her children, George D. MacDonell of Lima, Sara W. MacDonell of Columbus, Mary M. Marinelli (Michael) of Austin, TX and Elizabeth S. MacDonell (Lisa Domenico) of Anchorage, AK; her grandchildren, Alexander H. MacDonell, Alexandra C. MacDonell (Sean Squier) of Meghan, E. W, Katherine Graham Marinelli and Cole M. Domenico; and her great grandchildren, Avery L. Barton and Emma W. Barton.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be sent in Sally's memory to the Lima Public Library, 650 West Market Street, Lima 45801.
