She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Vaughan and May Ola Vaughan (Neal); and her brothers, Lu Vaughan and Jessie Loftin. She is survived by: her husband James S. Saunders; her son James D. Saunders (Tiffany); her grandchildren, Elle and Cale Saunders; her brothers, Wilbert Vick (Theena) and C. V. Vick (Ann); and her sister-in-law Carole Vaughan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
