She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover C. "Bob" Cartnal and Celia Marie Cartnal (Hughes); her husband Richard W. Hewitt; her son Greg Hewitt; and her siblings, Don Louis, James Lee Cartnal, Marjorie Cartnal and Dorothy Woltjen.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Hewitt (Melody) of Newark and Dan Hewitt of Toboso; and her grandchildren, Melissa Hewitt, Heidi Hewitt (Quincy Jackson), Tyler Hewitt (Megan) and Rebecca Barclay (Matt). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
