He is survived by: his mother Debra Cornely (Butts); his wife Anita R. McCandless (Hayes); his daughter Shayla McCandless; his stepson William Caldwell; his brother J. D. Appel; his mother-in-law Mary Hayes; and his sister-in-law Angie Ryan (Andy). He is also survived by step-sister; many grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Louisville Community Center (1 School St, St Louisville, OH 43071).
