It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley M. Overbey of Newark, Ohio, born in Steele, Missouri, who passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles Grady Grissom; her husband Darrell Overbey; her grandson Christopher Ray Overbey; and her brothers, Joe Grissom and Glen Grissom.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Giles (Joe), Doronda Foreman (Don Parsons) and Cheryl Overbey; her grandchildren, Jeremy Overbey, Ashlee Holman (Justin Heisler), Katie Waltz (Michael) and Eric Giles; and her great grandchildren, Christopher Riley Overbey, Madisyn Sheppard, Jathan Holman and Kyzic Overbey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
