He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Houston and Josephine Houston (Downs); his wife Ocean Houston (Tucker); his children, Connie Parsons, Lorna Stanley and Gary Houston; and his granddaughter Misty Giffin.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Pitcock of Roseville; his grandchildren, James Norris (Valerie), Greg Norris (Allison), Eric Lane (Molly), Lisa Patton (Dave), Gary Houston, Jr., Chrissy Dwyer (John) and Cody Stradley (Cassie); his sisters, Jean Borelli of Cleveland and Teddie Tucker of Logan; his daughter-in-law Karla Houston of Granada, MS; his extended family Brenda Keller (Darl); and his close friends, Rick and Edna Frey. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
