Steven leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steven’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Steven will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Neal and Martha Jane Watts (Clark). He is survived by: his wife Jane Watts (Gough); his children, Bradley Watts (Kelly) and Andrea Velasco (Will); his grandchildren, Camaille Watts, Elaine Watts and Chloe Velasco; and his brother Dr. Greg Watts (Sharon). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Neal Avenue Methodist Church (12 Neal Ave, Newark, OH 43055). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Neal Avenue United Methodist Church (12 Neal Ave, Newark, OH 43055).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Steven's memory may also be made to Neal Avenue Methodist Church.
