He was predeceased by: his father William Wesley; his grandson Josef Dumm; and his brother Bill Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Linda D. Wheeler (Perge); his children, Steve Wheeler of Jacksonville, Florida and Michelle Gemmell (Kenny) of Heath; his stepson Bryan Dumm of Newark; his grandchildren, Dillon, Dalton Gemmell, Abigail Dumm and Shayla Wheeler; his siblings, Tom Wheeler, Barb Pettit (Rocky), Norma Crawmer (Bryan), Marjorie Wheeler, Sue Ann Clark (Tim), Jeff Wheeler and Jim Wheeler; his stepsister Paula Hoover (John); his stepmother Florence Wheeler; his sister-in-law Linda K. Wheeler; his uncle Wayne Huddleston; and his siblings' children, Tom Wheeler and Kelly Joseph. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
