She was predeceased by: her father Charles W. Smith; her husband Darrell Duane Kerns; and her daughter-in-law Tonya M. Kerns (Frazier). She is survived by: her son Paul W. Kerns; her brothers, Richard L. A. (Patricia) and Jerry L. Smith; and her grandson Liam P. Kerns.
