We announce the death of Suzanne Hoops Schmid of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 80. She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Thomas and Vera (Landerman) Hoops; husband: David F. Schmid; children: Kathy (Jeff) Youskievicz and Keith (Hillary) Schmid; grandchildren: Tristan Youskievicz, Aidyn Youskievicz, Avery Schmid, Brennen Schmid, Braxton Schmid, and Zane Suzanne Schmid.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home (985 N 21st St, Newark, OH 43055).
