It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma J. Johnson of Newark, Ohio, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thelma J. Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, William Henry and Beulah E. Johnson (Kessinger); her cousin Janice Romine (Darrell) of Frazeysburg; her brother Larry David Johnson; her half-brother Francis David Johnson; and her grandparents, David, Mahala Johnson, Ray and Causbie Kessinger.
She is survived by : her nephew Paul Joseph Johnson of Gahanna; her sister-in-law Barbara Johnson of Grove City; and also, Justin and Becky Needham of Columbus.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heath Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service (1249 Hebron Rd, Heath, OH 43056). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
