He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe D. Plikerd and Elzora Plikerd (Purdy); his former wife Elizabeth Plikerd; his stepdaughter Anne Rinaldo; and his stepsons-in-law, Brian Rinaldo and Steve Thornton.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Plikerd; his children, Lisa Plikerd Cole (Jim Wiggins) of Columbus and Roscoe Plikerd of Columbus; his stepdaughters, Kelly Thornton of Lenexa and Marci Hendershot (Jake) of Nashport; and his daughter Crystal Lapidus-Mann of Newark. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
