It is with sadness that the passing of William Edward Selby Jr. of Newark, Ohio is shared. William, born on August 5, 1941, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Karen; his parents, Clara Selby and William Selby; and his sister Betty Lynn. He is survived by: his sister Jean Burgess; his children, Paul Selby (Theresa), Barry Burden (Laura), Dustin Burden (Margaret), Sarah Jane Selby Perkins and Kathleen'Lena' Stelk (Jim); his grandchildren, Sean-Michael Selby, Samantha Anne Selby-Stelk, Bridget-Marie Perkins, Samantha Burden, Davis Burden, Bethany Burden, Grace Burden, Kaitlyn Selby, Olivia Selby and Megan McKenzie; and his great grandchild Beatrice. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (394 E Main St, Newark, OH 43055). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (736 Mt Parnassus Dr, Granville, OH 43023).
Memorial contributions may be made in Bill's name to Licking County Veterans Service.
