He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Smith and Mary "Becky" Smith (Parkinson); his wife Alice Jean Smith; and his sister Paula Kirk (Jack). He is survived by: his sons, William Brent Smith (Hope), Jeffrey Allen Smith (Deborah) and Douglas Smith (Christy); his grandchildren, Monica Legg (Glenn), Lisa M. Smith, Justin Smith (Breann), Tyler Guminski, Carter and Reagan Smith; and his great grandchildren, Ellington William Smith and Edelman Windsor Smith. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Bill was born on February 9, 1929 in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Paul A. and Mary "Becky" (Parkinson) Smith.
