It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cliff Barnes of Newbury, Ohio, born in Big Sandy, Tennessee, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Bertie Mae (Chapman); his parents, David Eldon Barnes and Lela Jane Barnes (Alsup); his siblings, Iva, Ila, Orene, Allene, Nellie and Russell; his daughter-in-law Fredda Barnes; and his grandson Jason Goforth.

He is survived by : his children, Donald Barnes (Pat) of Concord, Janice Goforth (Tony) of Doylestown, Julie Barnes (Lori O'Brien) of Newbury, Mark Barnes (Mollie) of Highland Heights and Eric Barnes (Joelle) of Cuyahoga Heights; and his grandchildren, Marla Bentley, Donald Barnes, Jr. (Amy), Jill Barnes, James Barnes (Jenny), Holly Jones (Aaron), Chelsea Talty (Mike), Alex Arnold, Ethan Barnes, Lauren Barnes, Georgia Barnes and Camryn Barnes. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
