He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Leslie Taylor (Gregory), Richard F. Fabian, Michael A. Fabian (Terri) and Margaret Couch (Gregory); his grandchildren, Emily Franz (Jason), Rachel Gardner (Dan), Eric, Leanne Fabian, Kristen Kozenko (Robert), Hanna Fabian, Madalyn, Michelle and Elise Couch; his great grandchildren, Violet, Sophie, Jordan, Greyson, Chloe, Harper and Finley; and his brother Robert Fabian.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Helen's Catholic Church in Richard's memory.
