She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence J. Simak; her parents, Nicholas N. Nardolillo and Frances R. Nardolillo; and her siblings, Nicolette Johns (Michael) and Christopher Nardolillo.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lauren Simak-Christafferson (Thomas) and Jennifer White (Martin); her grandson Dylan White; and her sisters, Loretta King (Joseph) and Francine Nardolillo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins.
