He is survived by: his children, Shari Cawthon (Monte), Sandra Phillips (Johnny), Sheila Phillips and Randy Phillips (Kerry); his daughter-in-law Patricia Phillips; his grandchildren, Jason Phillips (Stephanie), Jamie Bertram (Matt), Kathryn Cawthon (Nicholas Tiscenko), Michael Cawthon (McKenna Whipple), Johnny Phillips Jr. (Abby), David Phillips (Rachel Korn), Nicholas Phillips (Brittany), Jennifer Brenneman (Vinnie), Jeremiah Phillips (Nastasha Mohr) and Sarah Phillips (John Waldron); and his siblings, Eula Tate and Carlos Phillips. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
