He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Mizer and Minnie Mizer (Doll); his wife Karen Mizer (Mullet); his grandson Eddie Lyons III; his sisters, Ellen Baker and Beatrice Roby; and his children-in-law, Ed Lyons II and Annie Mizer.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Wright (Duane), Teresa Lyons and Daniel Mizer; his grandchildren, Dustin Watson (Megan), Kandace Lehman (Joshua), Matthew Watson (Ashlee), Trinity Canfield (Daniel), Katie Kohler (Zach), Dale Lyons (Payten Mallery), Chelsea Mizer (Joel Moran) and Matthew Burger; and his great grandchildren, Kalista Watson, Zaiden Watson, Noah Canfield, Olivia Canfield, Abigail Lyons, Presley Lehman, Karley Lehman, William Lehman, Vincent Moran and Lewis Watson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Newcomerstown (121 S College St, Newcomerstown, OH 43832). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
