He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Woodby and Rosa Woodby (Buchanan); and his brothers, Billy Woodby and Charlie Woodby. He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Thomas Woodby and James Dalton Stull; his significant other Julie Woodby; his siblings, Cathy Bryant, Kenny Woodby, Carl Woodby and Peggy Vohs; and his great-niece Ariana Baumgardner. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
