John Buckey Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of John Buckey of Newcomerstown, Ohio is shared. John, born on November 29, 1937, passed away on October 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Buckey and Rosa Buckey (Saultz); his wife Carol Jean Buckey; and his sisters, Patricia Haver and Pauline Cox Helt.
He is survived by: his children, Jacquie Triplett (Greg) and John J. Buckey (Kevin Marshall); and his grandchildren, Reagan, Jackson and Reese Triplett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Addy Funeral Home (406 W State St, Newcomerstown, OH 43832). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Methodist Church of Newcomerstown. A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the TBD West Lawn Cemetery (21628 Township Rd 258, Newcomerstown, OH 43832).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of John E. Buckey.
