He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Steinbach; his wife Ramona Steinbach (Burns); his brother Larry Steinbach; and his stepfather Harold Schreiner. He is survived by: his mother Norma Schreiner (Johnson) of Port Washington; his children, Kenneth K. Steinbach (Tracey) of Gnadenhutten and Christina Collins (Travis) of Dennison; his grandchildren, Ashley, Colleen, Tristan, Ethan and Elliott; and his sister Wilma Freeland.
