With sadness, we share the passing of Leonard L. Taylor of Newcomerstown, Ohio. Leonard, born on July 11, 1931, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Judson Glenn and Marian Irene Taylor; his siblings, Gladys, Harold, Harry, Carl and Sherry; his son Mark Taylor; and his granddaughter Nichole Rollins (Susan Taylor).
He is survived by: his children, Danny Taylor (Loretta), Denise Parks (Tom) and William Taylor (Heather); his daughter-in-law Bonnie Taylor; his grandchildren, Cory Taylor (Jessica), Christian Taylor (Jessica), Elizabeth Harris, Shanteze Taylor-Klapp, Heather Reeder (Mark), Michael Parks (Katina), Andrew Taylor (Olivia), Marian Rockhold, Adam Fenrich, Angel Green (Earl), Cassie Stout (Cody), Chuck Stout (Sammi), Amy Phelps (Michael), Amanda Groeger (Duane) and Steve Rollins; his great grandchildren, Kamden, Ethan, Danni, Benson, Lennon, Bailey, Aaron, Kayla, Lucas, Taylor, Stevie, Ellie, Andrew, Caleb, Daine, Justice, Camden, Whyatt, Beckett, Brandon, Joseph, Kyle, Kayden, Kayleb, Kassidy, Lauren, Kaytlyn, Mason, Courtland and Hazel; his great great grandchildren, Memphis, Carver, Kade, Kota, Kolton, Chase, Caitlin, Dalton, River, Ryden, Chloe, Nick, Jadyn, Carson, Willow, Isabel, Brooke, Johnny and Echo; and his caregiver Janet Couts. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Countryside Baptist Church (4283 Shoemaker Rd, Port Washington, OH 43837). A reception will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
