It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin D. Duhamel of Newcomerstown, Ohio, who passed away on June 22, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Sherman Duhamel; and his siblings, Kenny Duhamel (Bonnie), Don Duhamel (Betty), Jeanette Baugher (Jim) and Mary.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Lanning); his daughters, Tammy Emler (Brian) of Newcomerstown, Brenda Knotts (Dan) of Hinsdale, IL, Chris Olsen of Dover and Paps; his grandchildren, Lauren Hostetler (Brit), Blair Emler (Olivia), Courtney Hursey (Jake), Devin Knotts (Martyna), Jacob Knotts (Lauren), Danielle Flood (Peter) and Taylor Olsen; and his sister-in-law Linda Lanning.
